April

Wow. April is already over. So much has happened, and our little Anabelle is growing up so much!! April started out so beautifully. PERFECT Easter weather, lovely afternoons, and good outside playtimes with all the cousins. She has fallen in love with being outside and with her cousin Elisha. Elisha is 2 1/2 years old and Anabelle thinks that he is the best. She wakes up most mornings asking about "Sisha." She is such a funny little girl.

She loves to eat, and can make quite a mess while enjoying her food. :)

She can be all smiles one minute and then so serious the next. Still as sweet as can be, though!

She LOVES strawberries. She and her Aunt Emily enjoyed them outside one afternoon and Emily took these pics of her while I was at work.

So sweet!

I left her home with her daddy one night, and she was very happy about that. She LOVES her daddy so much. He took the above picture that night.
We had our first Easter that Anabelle was active and very excited about candy. She LOVED her basket and getting all her goodies.

This is the best we could get in her Easter dress. She did NOT want to pose, nor did she want to stand still for any amount of time. There were chickens running loose in the yard and she wanted them.

Nana and Papa D came to visit the Saturday before Easter and brought bubbles. She really enjoyed being outside and chasing the bubbles.

They also brought Easter eggs to hunt. Notice the face. She has set her sites on one, and she's getting after it. :) We had so much fun and were so excited that Nana, Papa D, and Ash came to visit. :)

THE BIG SNOW!

So, this is the third snow of the year and it was the biggest. Sean and I woke up this morning and I jokingly said, "Wait don't get ready for work yet, let me see if it snowed!" As I walked to the window, I just knew the answer and I got ready for disappointment. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! The ground and roads were covered. It continued to snow ALL day long.
This is our house around 2:30 or 3:00 that afternoon. Its still coming down hard, too!
Anabelle woke up from her nap and as soon as she saw the snow, she was ready to go! SO, she went and waited by the door patiently. :)

Still waiting on mama and daddy to get their stuff together to go outside. She was ready!
Here we are! Still snowing like crazy, but she LOVED it.
She was knee deep in snow and having a ball! She was so excited when I put her down in that snow. We were cracking up at her.
Her little smiling face was just too fun to watch and see how much she loved being outside.
Me and my girl all bundled up outside.
Her first ever snowman. She loved it.
Standing by the snowman. After we had our fun outside, we went in and made snow cream. Of course, my baby LOVED it. She was ready to eat it and wanted it from both mine and Sean's bowls. She was just loving everything about today. We really had a good time

Its been awhile

Well, its been quite awhile since that last post. I've been slacking off with this whole blogging thing. I'm a bit new at it. Quite a bit has happened since my last blog. Anabelle is growing quite a bit. She is such a busy little squirt

As you can see, she is into almost EVERYTHING! She loves dumping out ALL the crayons and play in them.

She is so intense and always studying everything very carefully. She cracks us up with her facial expressions. She is such and animated little girl.

She also got to experience snow this year. She wasn't real sure about the first snow we got.
She was really concerned with the white stuff all over her gloves.
She only looked at the camera when I held her. If she was standing in the snow, she couldn't look up.

So concerned with the snow on her gloves. She kept trying to shake it off.
Not sure what she saw over there, but thought she was so cute.
Her first steps in the snow. She was very unstable, but still loved being out in it.

She loves her daddy, and giving him sweet kisses. :)

She finally has enough hair to pull a little bit to the side! Not sure if you can see her little spike or not, but it was cute.

Sweet baby and Daddy. They are buds. Recently he stayed home with me to help take care of Anabelle while I was sick, and she was LOVING it. She just followed him around all day long.
Silly girl put on her daddy's toboggan and ran around the house giggling.
It went down over her eyes, so she was running around blind. I was crackin up and trying to get a good picture of her. She would not cooperate and this is the best I got.
She loves talking on the phone. In this case, she was using a remote control as her phone. She just jabbers and then says "Bye!" and hangs up.
This was a funny conversation. She was really chattin it up with that remote. :)
Just my most favorite face in the whole entire world. Did I mention that I love this kid?! She has been such a joy and so much fun. Now, she can be a handful and a little toot every once in a while, but what kid cant? Recently she has been bringing me the bag of wipes right after she has dirtied her diaper. She is getting so big!

Now, just a little look at what I am attempting to take on as of late
I decided to attempt to make Anabelle some bows, and these are my first ones. I have also bought some material to make her a dress for this summer. I am really excited about all my new crafts and things that I have planned to do. So stay tuned for more to come!
